Dear huff,

you can change the PIN-number using a standard USSD code (this is also possible on any other mobile phone). The difference when using USSD codes with the Opis 60s mobile is that you need to add an extra * at the beginning of the code (in bold below). This is to switch the Opis 60s mobile into USSD mode. Conversely, you do not need to press any dial-key at the end (as you do with other mobile phones), you simply have to wait for about 5 seconds after the beeps that will sound in the receiver and the change of the PIN code will be active. (Please note that there is no feedback if the PIN change was successful or not as there is no display to show it on.)

The USSD to change the PIN-code (with the extra leading * for the 60s mobile) is:

***04*[OldPIN1]*[NewPIN1]*[NewPIN1]#

You can also find more about USSD and the 60s mobile at www.opis-tech.com/en/forum/60s-mobile-en/43-ussd-code-support
